Sports and Activity Certificates

Triathlon, and the three individual sports of which it is comprised, are hugely popular.  Many athletes race both in the UK and abroad.  Increasingly, such events require medical fitness certification from a doctor before allowing athletes to compete.  This is particularly the case in France and Italy but also in some events in the UK.

The following events require medical certification:

Events in France

• Cross Channel Swimming

• Cross Channel Swimming and Piloting Federation Medical

• Paris Marathon

• Paris Half Marathon

• French Riviera Marathon

• Mont Blanc Marathon

• UTMB Mont Blanc

• Medoc Marathon

• Disneyland Paris Half Marathon

• Etape du Tour

• Gran Fondo Marmotte Alps and Pyrenees

• Haute Route Pyrenees, Alps, Alpe d’Huez, Ventoux

• UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in Albi

• Megavalanche downhill mountain bike race

A medical certificate is recommended for the Tour of Flanders sportive, Roubaix Challenge and Liege Bastogne Liege Challenge although it is not mandatory.

Booking your appointment    

For simple medicals, we usually charge £95. If the medical takes longer, the fee may be a little higher, depending on the exact medical requirements - we recommend emailing your form through for a quote.
